    LEARN

Few things are more empowering than knowing how to heal yourself and your community with herbal medicine. Being able to know the secrets of the plants, to identify the flora of the forest and transform the plants into medicine intimately connects us to our habitat. One soon realizes that the healing medicine is everywhere. Even Shakespear’s Friar Lawerence in Romeo and Juliet remarks on the power of nature’s medicine: “Oh, mickle is the powerful grace that lies In herbs, plants, stones, and their true qualities. For naught so vile that on the earth doth live But to the earth some special good doth give.”

    — Romeo and Juliet, Act 2 Scene 2
